Rachel and Tony were at "The Lazy Harp", intending to have a quiet cup of tea.
Suddenly, Rachel jumped up, "Oh my goodness, the lottery! I completely forgot to check the numbers!"
Tony, ever the pragmatist, mumbled, "You never play the lottery, Rachel."
"I know," she admitted, pulling out a crumpled ticket, "But this time I felt it in my gut. It's my week!"
She unfolded the ticket dramatically as if it were the opening night of a musical.
Tony chuckled. "You and your gut feelings."
After a moment of hushed anticipation, Rachel’s face fell.
"Well, that's that," she sighed. "No millions for me this time."
Tony patted her arm sympathetically. "There's always next week."
Rachel, ever optimistic, perked up. "You're right! Maybe I should buy more tickets. One with a winning personality maybe?"
Tony rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "They don't sell those, Rachel."
Rachel grinned.
"A girl can dream, can’t she?"
