Monica and Chandler were walking along a path in St. Stephen's Green.
Suddenly, they saw a mysterious black limo parked near the playground.
A suspicious man with a shiny, silver hook for a left hand leaned against the vehicle. He gave Monica a cold stare.

Monica stretched her arms, ready for action. She whispered to Chandler, "This looks like trouble."
Chandler, chewing on a bagel he’d bought, mumbled through crumbs, "Maybe. But what if they offer us bagels in the limo?"
Monica rolled her eyes.

The man pointed his hook towards the park gates. "You! Inside!"
Monica told Chandler, "Chandler, he wants to kidnap us!"
Chandler stopped and said, "It’s painful to say, but this bagel is too good to leave. I am not getting in that limo."
Monica sighed. “We’ll do it my way then.” She lunged at the man and tackled him to the ground. The hook flew off into a bush. Chandler, mid-bite, watched with his mouth open.

The man turned out to be not a kidnapper, but a very confused limo driver who was lost and asking for directions. Monica’s fighting moves were not needed. Chandler's bagel was finished by a rogue pigeon.

Later, at The Lazy Harp, Chandler complained about the lost bagel. Monica kept checking her horoscope, sure that her day would be a disaster.
As the sun set, Chandler realized something. “Hey, maybe THAT was the kidnapping. They kidnapped my bagel.”
Monica laughed. “There is nothing remotely mysterious about a pigeon stealing your breakfast.”
