Ross and Monica sat in "The Lazy Harp", sipping tea. Ross, ever the science enthusiast, explained the thrill of identifying a rare bird he'd seen that morning. "It was a truly filthy specimen," he said, "covered in mud, but magnificent!"

Monica, unimpressed, nibbled a wiener from her salad. "Sounds like a real challenge to get clean," she quipped.

"Indeed!" Ross agreed, oblivious to her sarcasm. "Speaking of challenges, I’ve designed a new bird feeder. It requires a special knot – a sort of avian bond, if you will – to keep the squirrels out."

Monica sighed. Sometimes, the bond between her and her brother felt as tenuous as a piece of wet string, about to snap under the weight of his bird facts.

"I bet it involves some special type of rope to properly secure the birdfeeder," Ross continued.

Monica rolled her eyes. "I’m sure it does, Ross."

Monica looked at Ross, her eyes wide.

"What?" Ross asked, adjusting his glasses.

"Have you noticed how Chandler has been acting recently? He seems so distant."

"Chandler?" Ross questioned. "He’s been telling terrible jokes lately. I thought it was his way of expressing affection."

Monica chuckled. "You really think so?"

"Maybe," Ross admitted. "Or maybe he's just being Chandler."

Monica smiled. She couldn't help but shake her head at her brother's naivety. "You never change, do you Ross?"

Ross shrugged and reached for his tea, "Why change perfection?"

Monica laughed. "Oh, Ross."

They both took a moment to enjoy their drinks, lost in their thoughts.

A sudden question popped into Ross’s mind. "So, have you seen Rachel’s new hairstyle? It’s quite… unique."

Monica grinned, already anticipating the story behind it. "Don't even get me started. It involves a pair of scissors, a bottle of pink dye, and a surprisingly cooperative pigeon."
