Monica and Rachel were chatting in their apartment.
Rachel said, "I saw a homeless man reading a book outside The Lazy Harp. It was a thick chapter book."
Monica stretched. "What kind of material was it? Like, paperback or hardcover?"
Rachel laughed. "I don’t know! I didn’t ask. We just had a little chat about the weather."
Monica nodded, grabbing her phone.
Rachel added, "He had a really cool hat. A New York Yankee baseball cap."
Later, at the pub, Ross was telling a long story about pigeons.
"So, this pigeon," Ross said, "was eating a sandwich crust right out of my hand!"
