Monica and Chandler were in their van, driving to The Lazy Harp.
It was a lousy day, raining cats and dogs.
"I have a strong opinion about their tea," said Chandler. "It tastes like dirt."
Monica smiled. "That's a bold opinion."

They arrived at the pub and saw Ross with a pack of crisps.
"Want some?" he asked.
"No, thanks. You know my opinion on crisps," Monica replied.
Chandler grabbed a handful. "Don’t spit them out when you taste them!" Ross warned, jokingly.

Inside, Rachel was by the bar.
"Hi!" she greeted them. "Want to find a table?"
They joined Rachel and talked, mostly about Chandler's lousy attempt to fix a leaky tap earlier that week.
They shared stories and laughter, occasionally glancing at the other patrons.
A man at the corner table kept staring at them.
When he finally looked away, Chandler pretended to spit on the floor in disgust.
Everyone burst out laughing.
It was a lousy day outside, but inside, with friends, it felt warm and cosy.
