Monica and Rachel were walking down the aisle in the supermarket. "Don't forget the avocados!" Monica commanded. "And check for the sharp cheddar."

Rachel, after checking her horoscope, decided to transfer all the items from her basket to Monica's. "My stars say I shouldn't carry heavy things today," she explained, adjusting her bright pink wig.

Later, at "The Lazy Harp", Chandler was telling a joke. "I tried to explain to the barista that decaf isn’t real coffee… It was a sharp exchange of words, let me tell you." He took a sip from his mug, then added, "Then she asked if she could transfer my order to another coffee shop across the street!"

Ross was trying to explain the migratory patterns of swallows, but everyone just stared blankly. "Imagine," Ross said, "they fly thousands of miles. They command the very skies!"

Rachel’s phone buzzed. "Oh, the results of my aura reading are here," she said. She peered at the screen. "It says I need more pink in my life. Good thing I bought this wig!"

Chandler shook his head, stifling a laugh. He glanced at Monica, who rolled her eyes at Rachel’s wig. But then Monica smiled. It was a bright pink, a rather sharp color. Monica knew that, in her heart, she couldn't command Rachel's chaotic nature, she could just accept it as it came. And it was never, ever boring.

Translate: acuto, tagliente
Example:Monica knew that, in her heart, she couldn't command Rachel's chaotic nature, she could just accept it as it came. And it was never, ever boring. (Monica sapeva che, nel suo cuore, non poteva comandare la natura caotica di Rachel, poteva solo accettarla così com'era. E non era mai, mai noioso. )
