Nella lezione usiamo soprattutto la forma will have done.

Kyle will have finished his homework by the time his mother gets home [tooltip]Kyle avrà già finito i suoi compiti quando sua madre tornerà a casa[/tooltip]

By the end of the year [tooltip]entro la fine dell'anno[/tooltip]

By noon [tooltip]entro mezzogiorno[/tooltip]

By next month [tooltip]entro il mese prossimo[/tooltip]

By the time you have arrived [tooltip]entro quando sarai arrivato[/tooltip]

SOGGETTO + WILL + HAVE + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

Alcuni esempi:

By the end of the year I will have earned quite a lot of money [tooltip]Entro la fine dell'anno avrò guadagnato un bel po' di soldi.[/tooltip]

We shall have arrived by noon [tooltip]Saremo arrivati entro mezzogiorno.[/tooltip]

They will have finished to build their house by the time we have finished to build ours [tooltip]Avranno finito di costruirsi la casa (entro[/tooltip]

La forma negativa è come la positiva, tranne che will o shall acquistano una forma negativa: will not (won't) o shall not (shan't). Pertanto:

SOGGETTO + WON'T + HAVE + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

I need more time: I won't have finished by the end of the week.

WILL + SOGGETTO + HAVE + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

Will you have finished by the end of the week?

Will she have had dinner by 8pm? [tooltip]Avrà cenato per le 20?[/tooltip]

La forma negativa

WON'T + SOGGETTO + HAVE + PARTICIPIO PASSATO

Won't we have arrived by tomorrow? I'm tired of this journey, it's not fun at all [tooltip]Non saremo arrivati entro domani?

Won't they have managed to do it by noon? They started at 6am! [tooltip]Non saranno riusciti a farlo entro mezzogiorno? Hanno iniziato alle 6![/tooltip]

Queste ultime sono tuttavia relativamente poco usate, soprattutto in conversazione.

IL FUTURE PERFECT CON "BE GOING TO"

Come abbiamo detto nell'introduzione il future perfect si può costruire anche con il "be going to", per completezza della lezione guarda i seguenti esempi:

You are going to have perfected your French by the time you come back from the France [tooltip][/tooltip]

Are you going to have perfected your French by the time you come back from the France? [tooltip][/tooltip]

You are not going to have perfected your French by the time you come back from the France [tooltip][/tooltip]

REMEMBER No Future in Time Clauses

Like all future forms, the Future Perfect cannot be used in clauses beginning with time expressions such as: when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc. Instead of Future Perfect, Present Perfect is used.

Examples:

I am going to see a movie when I will have finished my homework. Not Correct

I am going to see a movie when I have finished my homework. Correct
